Electrical Assembler
JOB DESCRIPTION
All-around fabrication worker responsible for diversified work involving the operation of more than one machine in the production of sheet metal parts. Understands tooling, speeds, feeds, finishing and tolerance control to ensure quality and meet production standards. Sets up and operates various machines and able to perform necessary hand operations. Follows standardized procedures. Works from engineering specifications and instructions. Check work to templates or drawings using scale, square or other instruments to determine conformity. Adjusts machines during run to maintain tolerances. Performs necessary maintenance and keeps maintenance logs up to date at all times. A minimum of 3 + years of experience is required to obtain this title.
Specific Duties of Job Description:
- Operate all machines safely at all times and instruct others when not operating in safe
- manner.
- Perform routine maintenance or repairs, record date and list of activities performed in
- maintenance log.
- Record time studies for individual parts including set-up and run times on routing sheets.
- Record accurate completed parts count on routing sheets.
- Report any machine damage or malfunction directly to supervisor.
- Remain informed of fabrication job priorities and work toward completion of scheduled
- projects.
- Quality control of all first piece parts and periodically throughout runs.
- Write part numbers and product codes on as many parts as is reasonable and required.
- Keep multiple machines operating as production schedule demands.
- Positive attitude toward job, personnel and Company to be displayed at all times.
- Close attention to detail, organizational skills and regular work hours are required for this position.
- Working knowledge of programming machines required.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Salary: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
